Duties include the provisioning and monitoring of video and data services to satellite and fiber platforms, set-up and implementation of hd and SD video compression and encryption systems, configuration of video and audio levels, and management of uplink and downlink services. Candidate must be able to operate in a lead technician capacity, troubleshooting quality of services issues, and the coordination and operation of live customer events. Strong customer service skills and ability to multitask a must. Successful candidate will be able to excel in a fast paced live 24x7x365 video distribution environment.Preferred Requirements:Bachelors Degree or equivalent education/experience level in the operation of satellite and video systems. In-depth knowledge of satellite access and operation procedures, and thorough experience of hd, SD, and analog video/audio systems. Familiar with the operation of antenna and amplifier M&C systems operation, with an understanding of teleport RF transmission and reception systems. Must be adept with PC operations and Microsoft desktop applications, and have ability to quickly learn satellite and fiber booking systems SAM/VBUS. Successful candidate will be proficient in the operations of spectrum analyzers, waveform monitors.
