We are looking for an Account Executive for our Western Regional Sales Division located in Burbank, California. Ideal candidate will establish and maintain a territory coverage plan to meet or exceed assigned sales target for territory. Position requires incumbent to cultivate and prioritize sales opportunities while capitalizing on emerging opportunities and developing new customers in territory. Incumbent will develop consultative sales relationships with customers to deliver competitive value beyond features and functions. Ability to prepare and deliver professional sales proposals and presentations. Develop and maintain relationships with product end users and report their competitive, as well as technical issues, to the proper channels for market planning. Candidate will continuously expand knowledge of products and applications to serve traditional and emerging markets. Utilize sales tools and systems for customer contact management, sales proposals, and opportunity forecasting. Successful candidate will understand the competitor's product and strategy and know how to sell against the competition. Accurately forecast sales opportunities on an ongoing basis. Work with order entry, customer service, product management, and accounts payable teams to satisfy customer issues.
Job Requirements:
B.A./B.S. Degree, or equivalent educational certificate/experience required. Experience in the Broadcast Industry. General PC knowledge and experience in typical MS business applications needed (i.e.; Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Experience with SaleForce.com. Minimum of five year's technical sales experience in related field. An understanding of each market's business model and related system and equipment needs is essential. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to work with upper level management. Self-motivator with a history of meeting and exceeding given sales targets. Demonstrated ability to create compelling sales presentations building on provided marketing materials and creating additional tools as may be needed. Expertise in technology sales cycle and developing customer relationships. Expertise in evaluating sales opportunities and developing accurate forecasts. Ability to travel 60%

The Digital Sales Manager will serve as a specialist in selling digital inventory and custom programs for advertisers.
Power106.com has first class resources supporting its efforts local webmasters, Emmis Interactive content management system, outstanding research and metrics products, one-on-one training and a management devoted to the growth and development of digital revenue.
Here is what we need from the ideal candidate:
Ability to work in a peer-to-peer relationship with all the radio Account Executives and Sales Managers to drive digital revenue
Train and develop all Account Executives, Managers and team members in digital sales
Actively participate in the stations' marketing and sales meetings
Develop the selling materials and pricing for the stations' interactive products
Ability to deliver the Emmis Digital Pre-Sell Presentation flawlessly and passionately to any audience
Initiate ideas for advertisers and assist in selling them with Account Executives.
Create mock-ups, presentations and other sales materials for digital sales efforts
Produce the weekly and monthly reports for all Digital revenue and billing
Manage broadcast radio support for all Digital programs
Serve as a continuous liaison between marketing and sales management
Be an expert at recognizing and properly identifying key issues that are impeding project's progress as they arise
Develop an independent account list including interactive agencies and accounts to grow digital revenue for Power106.com
Meet with the DOS and General Manager quarterly on a formal basis to review the status of the interactive projects and manage any outstanding issues
Brainstorm ideas for digital features to increase online sales opportunities
Participate on bi-weekly divisional IAM conference calls
Update the Product and Pricing guide
Maintain and upgrade the half price channel
Manage all Digital sales incentive programs

High school diploma or equivalent required. College degree in Marketing preferred.
Valid driver's license and state mandated automobile insurance required.
Ability to travel and work long hours.
