What happens if my freelance dispute goes to mediation?
If you have an active dispute and both parties do not select the same decision in the iHire platform within 72 hours, the dispute will be sent to our team for mediation.
During mediation, iHire will review relevant information related to the project and help determine what happens to the disputed funds being held through the Marketplace. Depending on the circumstances, funds may be released to the Freelancer, refunded to the Client, split between the parties, or held pending further resolution.
