About this opportunity:

MillerKnoll is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Assistant Content Producer to join our Creative and Marketing Operations team at our location in West Michigan. This role will primarily support the Herman Miller brands with additional support provided to the other brands within the MillerKnoll portfolio such as Knoll and Design Within Reach. This role requires a resourceful, team-oriented professional with a flexible mindset and ability to travel to assist the Photo Production, Creative, Product Development, and Marketing teams. Additionally, this individual will act as a front-facing brand ambassador while working on site 3 - 4 days a week and representing MillerKnoll to external vendors, contractors, and designers while traveling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide general support for the photo studio team in West Michigan, maintaining photo and video supplies, keeping schedules updated in Airtable, and ordering breakfast and lunch for the crew when necessary.

  • Maintain physical inventory at the studio warehouse, keeping product on racks in order and accessible to the Content Producers.

  • Assist Content Producers with inventory logistics leading up to photoshoots and events using the Airtable sample inventory database.

  • Track sample follow-ups and order statuses, collaborating with various teams to ensure timely updates to the pack list.

  • Support merchandise coordinators during pre-production, overseeing production tasks on set, and coordinating post-production.

  • Help with logistics planning for content shoots, such as booking catering, hotels, travel, trucks, and additional vendors.

  • Secure permits for location shoots, parking, and rigging.

  • Conduct initial research for locations and talent to support the Creative team when needed.

  • Ensure proper file naming conventions are maintained during pre-production and on set.

  • Assist with expense coding and logging in Concur for photoshoot-related activities.

  • Organize and archive final documents, assets, and production materials upon project completion.

  • Assist with negotiating rates and managing billing with external contractors under the Content Producer's guidance.

Requirements:

  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently.

  • 1-2 years of relevant work experience.

  • Ability to safely lift and/or transport materials weighing up to 60 pounds is required.

  • Experience with Airtable, MS Office, and Project Management tools (such as Wrike or Monday.com) a plus.

  • Experience working in a dynamic, team-based environment with minimal oversight.

  • Understanding of office management.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.

  • Highly organized with a problem-solving mindset.

  • Experience thriving in a fast-paced, high-demand setting.

  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to tasks and challenges.

  • Glass half full mentality.
