Production Associate - 1st shift

Our Fort Recovery Feed & Animal Division in Mercer and Darke counties, in Ohio, produces and delivers feed while providing support to our contract farmers raising animals for production. Cooper Farms is currently seeking a 1st shift Production Associate to join our Liquid Egg Products team in Fort Recovery. SHIFT HOURS: Monday through Friday 6:00am-4:30pm STARTING HOURLY RATE: $17.00 with the potential of increasing to $17.20 after 90 days. ADDITIONAL PAY: Monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance) All training will be provided for this entry level position. Job functions include: Loader/Material Handler: Lifting stacks of flats of eggs on to the loader conveyor efficiently Disposing of inedible product in correct containers when needed. Candler: Being able to recognize and remove any dirt's, rotten, blood and leaking eggs. Breaker: Being able to recognize and remove any shells or blood in the cups. Scanner: Being able to recognize and remove any eggs that could create contamination (dirt's, leaker, blood, rot).
