The Post Production Coordinator will touch all facets of post production for CNCC's branded content, primarily supporting Post Production Supervisors by shepherding content from shoot to delivery. This role ensures the smooth transition of projects from production to assistant editors, editors, QC, and the Media Asset Management team. This is a freelance position with the possibility of extending to a full calendar year.
Primary Responsibilities:
Ensure all necessary media, assets, and documentation is received and ingested after every shoot
Assist the Post Production Supervisors with scheduling and tracking post-production projects to meet deliverables and deadlines
Ingest and archive final assets to the MAM strictly following our video standards and workflows
Maintain the internal project tracking tools and update records as projects progress
Oversee the quality assurance, delivery and archival of final assets
Provide edit assistance during the relinking process
Catalog and ship hard drives on a per project basis
Attend daily production meetings to discuss project updates
Aid with onboarding of new editors and vendors to Conde Nast's workflow and standards
Manage team user accounts, e.g. Frame.io, stock libraries, etc.
Routinely organize our on premises storage systems and cloud based systems
QC final deliverables before publication
Support the Post Production Supervisors, Editors, and senior post management as needed
Requirements
2+ years of experience as Assistant Editor or similar role
Knowledge of the Adobe suite (Premiere, Photoshop, After Effects)
Experience ingesting to Media Asset Management systems (MAM)
Previous experience with Airtable is a plus but not required
Familiarity with basic Motion Graphics
Experience utilizing project workflow management software and tools
Knowledge of video codes, file types and frame rates
Must be creative, detail-oriented problem solver with strong organization and communication skills
Must have a strong understanding of the logistics of the post-production process
Ability to clearly communicate with individuals at different levels
Must be adaptable in a fast paced work environment
