Post Coordinator
We are seeking a detail-driven Post Production Coordinator to support the Post Production Supervisor across multiple projects at an established production company. This role focuses heavily on the administrative and compliance side of post production, including paper deliverables, legal flag tracking, release management, and maintaining accurate documentation for every stage of post.
The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable managing large volumes of paperwork and information while communicating across departments to ensure everything is properly logged, cleared, and delivered.
Key Responsibilities
Compile, maintain, and track all paper deliverables required for each project, including show bibles, music cue sheets, appearance releases, location releases, and archival logs.
Work with the Post Supervisor to ensure all deliverables meet network/streamer requirements and are submitted on schedule.
Manage accurate and up-to-date documentation for every cut, including revision histories, notes cycles, and deliverables checklists.
Create and maintain legal flag documents for every cut, ensuring all third-party materials (music, talent, trademarks, archival footage, graphics, etc.) are flagged, logged, and communicated to Rights & Clearances.
Track clearance statuses and follow up with relevant teams on outstanding items or missing documentation.
Assist Post Supervisor in gathering materials for Standards & Practices or Legal Reviews and organizing their feedback for editorial teams.
Organize, label, and track all releases (appearance, location, material, etc.).
Manage metadata documentation for final delivery, including credits, lower-third spellings, and editorial metadata sheets.
Assist Post Supervisor with scheduling and distributing cuts to internal teams, external stakeholders, and network partners.
Assist Post Supervisor with tracking and updating post calendars
Communicate clearly with editors, assistants, production teams, Legal, and Rights & Clearances.
Update internal databases, spreadsheets, and shared drives with the most current information.
Prepare Bleep and Blur lists ahead of final reviews.
Support the Post Supervisor during the finishing and delivery process, ensuring all paperwork deliverables are complete, accurate, and properly formatted.
Prepare and organize delivery packages including: Cue sheets, Subtitles/captions documentation, Post scripts or as-broadcast scripts, Final credits lists, Compliance paperwork
Assist with final QC documentation and confirm all required materials are accounted for before turnover.
Qualifications
1+ years experience in post production at a production company.
Strong organizational and administrative skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Experience managing or compiling legal flags, releases, or similar compliance paperwork.
Familiarity with post production workflows and terminology.
Proficiency with Google Workspace, Excel, shared drives, and cloud-based screening tools.
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
Knowledge of deliverables for broadcast or streaming platforms.
Highly organized and comfortable managing detailed documentation.
Clear communicator who can collaborate with multiple teams.
Proactive, resourceful, and able to anticipate needs.
