Mount Olivet Lutheran Church | Audio Visual Technician Title: Audio Visual Technician Reports to: Manager of Audio/Visual Production Hours: Part-Time ( Overhire ) Purpose Mount Olivet Lutheran Church is seeking part-time overhire Audio Visual Technicians to support the technical needs of Sunday services and regular church events. Mount Olivet is a congregation worshiping at two locations in Southwest Minneapolis and Victoria, MN with a commitment to traditional worship and quality musical offerings, including choir, organ, and instrumental ensembles. Our A/V department supports live audio and video production for worship, funerals, weddings, and a wide range of congregational events . Our team works with professional-grade equipment, including an Allen & Heath dLive C3500 console and a six-camera NDI-based Tricaster video system. Candidates should have regular weekend , evening , and holiday availability. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds no statement of faith or religious affiliation is required . Primary Responsibilities Production staff are hired primarily into an audio or video track, with cross-training across both disciplines to ensure smooth operation. Audio Mix live worship services, funerals, weddings, and congregational events Manage wireless microphone systems Mix small instrument ensembles, vocalists, and choir Video Operate a six-camera NDI + PTZ system vi a Tricast er live video switcher Shoot and cut a complete livestream independently, without live director input Operate ProPresenter for livestream graphics All Staff Troubleshoot system issues in real time Implement proactive maintenance and recommend system improvements Flexible scheduling available; opportunities to work at both Minneapolis and Victoria locations Required Skills Experience delivering quality sound and/or video production in large venues, preferably in a worship context Demonstrated ability to work independently and make confident production decisions in a live environment Willingness to cross-train and support both audio and video operations as needed Strong communication skills , including the ability to speak to technical and non-technical team members Basic f amiliarity with DAWs and /or NLEs ( Logic Pro, Final Cut Pro ) Please submit a resume or work history, along with two professional references, to Jason Millard, Audio/Video Production Manager ( ... ) Starting hourly: $26
