Local Band Looking for Producer / Engineer

un Local Band Looking for Producer / Engineer (Las Vegas) compensation: Between $500 and $2000 depending on services offered Local band looking for a producer and or sound engineer to help us record our first album over the summer. We are an amateur band, and would be happy to work with another amateur. We will be willing to discuss pay when we figure out what services you have to offer. We play funk rock (think Red Hot Chili Peppers) with elements of grunge and alt rock. We have a fully written album of 12 songs (vocals, bass, guitar, drums). We will be recording in our singer's house in the southwest side of Vegas. We have all of the necessary gear, including instruments, amps, mics, preamps, computer, monitors, protools and plugins, etc. We are looking for someone to be in the room with us to help us with things like amp placement within the room, mic placement, editing and effects in protools, and mixing and mastering (if capable). Your musical input would also be welcome and appreciated. Like I said, we are amateurs and are willing to meet with anyone, no matter how little experience, to discuss options. This would be a great paid summer project for a student or amateur (we are UNLV students and recent alum). Please reach out if you are interested!
