Mindgruve is seeking a strategic, performance-driven Media Strategist to lead the development, execution, and optimization of integrated paid media programs across a diverse portfolio of clients. This individual will translate business objectives into actionable channel strategies, oversee campaign performance and budget stewardship, and drive data-informed decision-making that delivers measurable growth. The ideal candidate brings strong analytic rigor, cross-channel expertise, operational leadership, and the ability to collaborate seamlessly with Account, Investment, Analytics, and Ad Operations teams to ensure strategic alignment and executional excellence.
The Associate Account Manager supports senior client leads in the day-to-day coordination across creative, media and digital projects. Working closely with Account Managers and Project Managers, this role helps keep teams organized, communication clear and deliverables moving. The AAM focuses on mastering the fundamentals of client service, communication and cross-team collaboration while building toward independent account ownership.
What You'll Do Here:
Support account and project leads by coordinating deliverables, timelines and approvals
Prepare and update meeting notes, status report and internal recaps
Assist in developing creative briefs, execution follow-up and campaign documentation
Serve as a day-to-day support point for clients, escalating appropriately to account leaders
Track project progress in agency tools, ensuring information is accurate and up to date
Support the development of client decks, reports and presentations
Help gather assets, inputs and feedback from clients and ensure the team has what they need
Contribute to internal brainstorms and kick-offs, offering fresh perspectives and handling details
Participate in internal and client meetings, capturing next steps and ensuring clear handoffs
We Need a Person With
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising or related field, or equivalent experience
1-3 years of professional or internship experience in marketing/agency environments
Familiarity with campaign processes and project management tools (e.g., Asana, HubSpot, Google Workspace) preferred
Compensation will be commensurate with experience. Additionally, for eligible full-time employees, we offer a competitive benefits package including medical insurance, dental insurance, and vision insurance; a flexible spending account; voluntary life and accident plans; and a 401(k) retirement plan with matching. We have six office locations in the US: San Diego, California, Los Angeles, California, Covington, Kentucky, Denver, Colorado, Nashville, Tennessee and Charleston, South Carolina. We're seeking local candidates (or those open to relocation) who are able to work collaboratively with us in one of our office's; however, based on business needs and unique job functions, some roles may be eligible for remote work. (Bonus points if you're bilingual in Spanish and/or Portuguese.)
