Job Purpose

Produce quality parts, on time, the first time to meet or exceed our customer requirements, while supporting the policies and procedures of AHK.

Duties and Responsibilities

Follow standardized assigned work procedures properly to operate equipment and manufacture product

Maintain proper documentation of production paperwork

Inspect product to ensure no defects are passed on to the next customer

Maintain good housekeeping (5S) in assigned areas

Follow all plant safety, environmental & quality policies along with other AHK policies & procedures.

Assist and support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing processes

Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required

Must be task-oriented, and have the ability to multi-task with accuracy

Ability to work flexible hours to meet departmental and team member's needs

Ability to work in a team environment

Physical requirements

Work activities may include lifting 10 pounds or more frequently, standing or sitting for extended periods.

This position is primarily inside an industrial manufacturing facility,

Twisting & turning from side to side.

Standing in one spot for hours at a time.

Walking back & forth from operating station to station for extended times.

General Job Functions

AHK Team Member - Team members are required to:

Effectivelymunicate with peers and leaders;

Correctly handle abnormal conditions that are non-conforming;

Provide break time and lunch time production coverage;

Work with leaderships planned break and lunch time scheduling;

Basic functions of AHK's PLEX productionputer system;

Willing to be trained to On-the-Job training standards and willing to perform OJT training;

Completely and accuratelyplete required check sheets and other documentation;

Preform assigned equipment/operation/material changeovers;

Perform assigned startup and shutdown procedures;

Strive to meet the set goals, objectives and targets set for efficient and effective production;

Pay Details: $14.00 to $15.00 per hour
