Project Operations Manager, Music Post Production

JTN Music | Remote (Los Angeles/West Coast Preferred)

Full-Time | Salaried | Full Benefits | 401k

About the Role:

JTN Music, a bicoastal music editing company working across high-profile TV and Film projects, is seeking a sharp, experienced Project Operations Manager to lead and manage the daily flow of studio work across multiple projects and project teams.

This person is the heartbeat of the company's internal workflow. They are the person who knows the ins and outs of what's happening across all active projects at any given time - what's urgent, what's coming next, who is working on what, where support is needed, and what needs to move before it becomes a problem.

The Project Operations Manager tracks priorities, assigns and reassigns workload across editors and assistants, and keeps projects moving in real time as deadlines shift, needs change, and new fires pop up. This role is for someone who can see the full board, understand what matters most, and make sure the right people are focused on the right work at the right time.

This position is remote, though we prefer someone based in Los Angeles or on the West Coast due to time zone alignment with the majority of our projects on PT.

This is a full-time salaried role with benefits, built for someone who wants to be part of a team long term and grow within the company. We're looking for someone with leadership instincts, strong communication, and the ability to manage operations for music editorial across multiple simultaneous TV and Film projects.

Maintain and manage our Asana workflow - creating, assigning, updating, and tracking tasks across projects.

Oversee timely and accurate delivery of final music deliverables to studios and clients.

Manage day-to-day internal operations, including scheduling and coordination for editors and assistants.

Collaborate closely with the COO, Project Leads, and Post Coordinator on workflow, team coverage, project planning, and daily operations.

Spot bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and risks early, then help solve them before they become bigger problems.

Communicate clearly and quickly across Slack, email, phone, and text.
